OUR TRAINING PHILOSOPHY
Athena® sets out to provide high-class personal and professional training whether face-to-face or online. As an organisation, it is founded around the physical and emotional health and well being of the horses and other animals that live and work here. We extend the same philosophy towards our learners.
As an organisational member of British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and Accredited Counsellors Coaches Psychologists and Hypnotherapists (ACCPH) we are committed to providing the highest ethical and professional standards in all activities. This includes in the design and delivery of our training programmes.
We work throughout with our external accrediting body, the ACCPH. This accreditation provides assurance that our training programmes are of the highest standard. Working with the ACCPH means that they closely follow the benchmarks set in the UK by OFQUAL and the Open & Distance Learning Quality Council.
To further this we work with our trainers to ensure a consistent standard of delivery and learning is experienced by all learners and this is supported by qualified Internal Quality Assurance assessors.
Athena® aims to provide an authentic safe environment for our learners where are they can feel at the heart of their own learning and everything that we do to support them. It recognises that our learners have different backgrounds, professional practices, skill sets and measures of neurodivergence. We have designed training programmes that build upon learners needs no matter what their background or specialism.
Lastly, Athena® have also made a conscious decision about our maintain realistic pricing. We set out to deliver very high standard yet affordable training programmes in an authentic environment for all.
