Level 7 PG Cert Equine Facilitated Interactions
March 31 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm BST
The Athena Herd Foundation externally accredited Level 7 PG. Certificate in Equine Assisted Services is a learner-led combination of an action research project and written assessment, supported by a documented learner’s reflected diary. Course delivery will be through specific group online topic sessions, supported by online learning materials and direct supervision.
As a Level 7 qualification, learners’ submissions need to display critical evaluation skills; this means working with or reformulating practical solutions bases on conceptual or technological skills and knowledge, as well as a broader understanding of a subject or field of work.
This course is about undertaking, and completing a vocational action research project based around your own existing professional practice. The project will undertake a critical evaluation of change in practice; it will:
•address an identified challenge or development need, or shortcoming in client reported outcomes, in their existing professional practice; or
• identify complementary skills, practices or modalities that can be incorporated into client-equine interactions,
• consider and seek to change the effect or impact on the horses engaged in the practice, or;
• take an existing practice currently being provided to a given client group and adapt the approach for the needs and requirements of a different client group.
Other ideas or concepts can be requested.
