" Together we can do great things” Mother Theresa

Tom has worked with horses all his life, from making youngsters to retraining problem horses. He played and coached polo internationally, and has seen how powerful the bond of horse to human can be throughout his working life.

Sally Herdman
It’s been said that ‘horses are mirrors to our soul’. In fostering a relationship with a horse, a person is brought face-to-face with the truth about him or herself
This self-awareness is key to understanding and solving problems. In developing her own self awareness over the last 30 years, Sally learnt how non verbal communication between her and her horses helped unload much of her life´s baggage. Sally used the lessons learned from the horses to ground herself and grow her own well-being. She combines her knowledge of equine facilitated interactions with her Master Neurol-Linguistic Programming (NLP) expertise to help provide clients with a positive experience with the horses. This can result in clients being empowered to lead happier and more fulfilling lives. Together Sally and the horses can help you unlock your personal strengths in a shorter time than you might expect.
Experience:
Sally has worked with After Adoption and Independent Fostering Networks for many years as well as her local RDA. She has presented leadership and management courses for corporation and team building skills for young adults. Sarah Clark
Equine Psychology Specialist
Sarah has lived and breathed horses her whole life but she decided to study the science of equine behaviour after unknowingly buying a horse who would dangerously rear and spin. After desperately seeking advice Sarah realised that no well-known trainers nor popular methods out there could help resolve this behaviour in a kind way, nor explain WHY it was happening.
Experience:
Having already graduated university with a BSc (Hons) in Equine Science, Sarah returned to Warwickshire University to study the science of equine behaviour, which was to be the start of her passionate vocation helping horses with behaviour problems.
In addition to helping horse owners overcome obstacles and achieve rewarding results and relationships with their horses on a daily basis, Sarah is passionate about being a ‘voice for the horse’; spreading the word to enhance equine wellbeing. This takes many educational forms including giving talks and demos to horse owners and equine professionals alike, writing for various publications including Your Horse magazine, Horse & Hound and The GaitPost online, contributing to live BBC radio discussions on horse related stories in the media.
More recently Sarah has been supporting the Athena Herd Foundation team by delivering teaching material to Equine Facilitated Learning students about the Nature of the Horse.
Sarah is obsessed with learning more about horses through study and CPD’s. Mostly though, she gives thanks on a daily basis to her greatest teacher, the true expert in equine behaviour – the horse!
